Fellow Belleekers !!  (lettre # 5.5)

** LATE BREAKING NEWS !! **

** CANADIAN CONVENTION **

I'm SORRY that I was unable to attend the Trillium 
Chapter's TOTALLY successful convention !!

From ALL I hear, it was quite the event !!  I did
receive in today's post, from some VERY good friends
of mine, a copy of the conventions schedule !!  THANKS !!
Looking it over, I can see that there were PLENTY of
Events scheduled !!

Unfortunately, since I was not there, I can not provide
much additional information !!

** MY CONTRIBUTION ?? **

Unfortunately, again, only like a half dozen Belleekers
knew of the video that I had produced for the convention !!

Since there was not sufficient time to show my video, I
am offering it on a first come first shipped service to
ANY Chapter that would appreciate utilizing it as their
program during a Chapter meeting !!

By this I mean, I will ship it to the 1st. Chapter then
advise them of the 2nd. Chapter to ship it to, etc. !!

ANYONE with my master copy has TOTAL PRIVILEGES TO MAKE
THEIR OWN COPY(S) !!

** WELCOME DON !! **

I would like to personally extend my welcome to Mr. 
Don Campbell as the Belleek Collectors' International 
Society 2001 Honoree !!  This is long overdue as Don 
has been the Master of Ceremonies at the past three 
conventions and is slated as the MC at the upcoming 
convention in Portland, Oregon sometime in 2003 !!  
He has QUITE an extensive collection of Belleek as 
well as knowledge therein !!

** SPEAKING OF COLLECTIONS AND KNOWLEDGE !! **

The collection of Pat and Bill Holm recently relocated
them to a NEW residence !! If you DON'T see their new
address here, it's because IT'S NOT HERE !!

I have a resolution NOT to publish ANY PERSONAL address
UNLESS I'm either given permission or asked thereof !!

I did hear though of Bill's unfortunate accident at 
the Portland airport (PDX) upon his arrival home and 
I believe that it concerns a broken hip ??  PLEASE 
accept this Newelettre as my sincerest concerns and 
wishes for a COMPLETE recovery !!

AND I WOULD HOPE that you fellow BELLEEKERS would send
him your prayers !!  GET WELL 'HOPPALONG' BILL !!

** UPDATED SALES AND WANTED PAGES **

Well, the following is what I promised in my last 
newslettre !!

LOOK for a "REVISION DATE" in August on my SALES
page as it WILL be updated in the next couple of days !!

** CHICAGO SUMMER ANTIQUE SHOW **

I PLAN on arriving August 23rd. and I'll be staying 
at the Rosemont Inn adjacent to Chicago's O'Hare 
International Airport !!  

PLEASE pass this information onto any of your Chapter 
members that you either know are attending or suspect 
may be taking a holiday to Chicago for this spectacular 
show which will be opening August 24th. and running 
thru the weekend !!

ALL the information has been posted on my Web Site 
under the UPCOMING EVENTS page !!

** I ALWAYS TRY TO INCLUDE SOMETHING ?? **





Above, we see one of my cacti IN BLOOM !!  NO ONE believes
me that one can bloom cacti in the Pacific North West !!
They CONSTANTLY say it "JUST RAINS UP THERE" !!  WRONG !!

I don't believe that Belleek EVER designed a Cactus 
Pattern, BUT FOR SURE, they designed a beautiful Sun 
Flower Vase !!  As per my 'theory' in recent newslettres, 
these would look quite lovely as a pair, or even a 
threesome, on your luncheon table with some beautiful 
spring flowers in them !!

Again, I must apologize as I have never possessed this 
interesting item, but I have seen a second period 
example, very nice !!

What follows is a (miniature), like less than 4 feet, 
example of what I can photo for you, from my garden !!
